ABOUT US

Invite ~ Grow ~ Serve

We are a growing church of God actively seeking to discover God’s will for our lives. We believe that faith is grounded in prayer and thus hold a prayer vigil the first Thursday of every month from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. Prayer requests may be called to the church office at (309)-792-1661, sent by e-mail to colonaumc2@mchsi.com, or by filling out a prayer request form.

Our desire is to pour forth God’s love in every way possible. We support and care for each other through small groups, congregational care ministers, and a congregational care (shepherding) program. We seek to love and serve others through local, regional, and global ministries and missions.

Wherever we are from, and whatever our situations, we're all God's children coming together to express our love of God and each other. We celebrate our diversity and give God the praise for all the blessings we receive. Whether you are looking for a permanent church home, or just a place to worship as you travel through the area, we would love to have you worship and fellowship with us.

We offer children & youth sunday school classes starting at 9:00am. We also have adult Sunday school classes starting at 8:30am or 9:00am. Our worship service starts at 10:00am. The service is a blended style of traditional and contemporary. Worship usually last about an hour.

We have children's busy bags in the back Cry Room for children to keep busy during the service. There is also a children's time during the service where they can go to the front for a special message just for them and most Sundays a small treat. The Cry Room's in the rear of the sanctuary have big windows and speakers, so you won't miss any of the service if your little one needs some extra space to move around.

For those wishing to participate, we celebrate Holy Communion the first Sunday of each month. All who wish to participate in the Lord's Supper are welcome.replica watches
