Membership

     Come, we invite you to come and join us in the worship and service of the Lord and Jesus Christ.  People from all walks of life are welcome to become members of the Colona United Methodist Church.  In addition to United Methodists from other churches who desire a new Church home, those of other faiths, or those who are seeking to find their faith for the first time are invited to become members of our Church Family.

     If you have joined with us in worship or fellowship and seek to become part of the membership here, speak with Pastor Sandy Bunnell or one of the Administrative Assistants, Sharon Mercer or Vicki Mlekush and they will help guide you through the appropriate process.

     Members of other faiths, or who are new to the faith will be guided through a brief series of classes that describe the tenets of the United Methodist Church, our Church history, and the core beliefs of our Faith.  Once that course has been completed, and the decision to continue on to becoming a member of our congregation has been made, a special time during a worship service will be planned and scheduled.  At that time, you, the Pastor, the Church Lay Leader and the members of the congregation will join in a ceremony to bring you into the Church and welcome you as a new member.

     Decide you wish to just attend services, bible school or other fellowship opportunities?  You are always welcome to join with us in worship, learning and other activities as you seek your path to God.
